4. Who We Share It With

We share your information only with people who need it to serve you, and only for that purpose:

  • Service providers: our website host, email and WhatsApp providers, delivery companies and our accountant or bookkeeper.
  • Authorities: when the law requires it, for example SARS or a court order.

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. When that happens, we use providers that protect your information to a standard comparable to POPIA, as section 72 of the Act requires.

We never publish the names of our customers or stockists without their written permission.

Keeping it. We keep enquiry details for 6 months after your last contact, unless you become a customer. Order and invoice records are kept for 5 years for tax and accounting purposes. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Protecting it. We use password-protected accounts, limit access to the people who need it, and choose providers that secure their systems. If we learn that your information has been accessed without permission, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Cookies. Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work.

Social media. When you message or comment on our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube pages, the platform also holds that information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. For anything sensitive, email us instead.
